Please consider this before engaging with our social media pages

Ameris Bank maintains social media pages on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Ameris’s social pages are public so anyone can participate and view our pages and what we and others post. We are not responsible for any views or comments or content posted on these pages, other than Ameris’s own content. 

We ask that you follow these Guidelines when interacting with our social media pages. We may delete or remove any post that we believe violates these Guidelines. 

Please do not post or otherwise transmit to or through Ameris’s social media pages any commentary or content that:

• Contains or uses anyone else’s patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity unless you have permission to do so
• Is unlawful or encourages illegal activity
• Is obscene, abusive, false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, libelous, threatening, derogatory, profane, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or hateful speech of any kind regarding age, gender, gender identity, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability, or invasive of anyone’s privacy
• Constitutes any form of advertising or marketing
• Contains any personal information- that, any information that identifies or can be used to identify you or anyone else; or that is confidential

• Infringement of anyone’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, intellectual property or other proprietary rights, or right of publicity or privacy, is strictly prohibited and is your sole responsibility. Never post comments, ideas, photos, text, designs, computer programs or other content to our social media pages that you do not have the permission and authority to post.
• You represent and warrant that you own all copyright in all content you post, or you have the express permission of the copyright owner of that content to post and use such content.
• By posting your comments, ideas, or any other content of yours on our social media pages, or in submitting any comments, ideas or other content to us through our social media pages, you are granting Ameris Bank, its affiliates, and their successors and assigns, a royalty-free, paid up, nonexclusive, transferable, worldwide and perpetual right and license to republish, redistribute or otherwise use in any manner your postings and submissions.

We may occasionally post links to third-party sites that we think you may find interesting or helpful. Please note, however, that when we do that we are not in any way endorsing or approving any third party, or any content associated with such third party site. We have no responsibility for any content posted on any third party site.

Privacy

When you visit or interact with an official Ameris Bank social media page, you are subject to the terms and conditions of Ameris Bank’s privacy policies and our general website terms of use. You also are subject to the underlying social media platform operator’s privacy policies and to their security practices (e.g., those of X, Facebook, LinkedIn).
